Session Description: Join this eSession to learn about the advantages of using modular GPS technology as part of landfill management. This web seminar will explore how GPS technologies on machines can increase landfill density by providing accurate and up-to-date information on compaction and material placement. The ability to do more tasks in-house will also be discussed, including surveying and grading. This technology can also lead to lower operational costs, less pass counts, and less wear and tear for machinery. The ability to analyze historical data about the machines, material placement, volumes, and densities will also be addressed.
