For nearly 50 years, SWANA has been the leading source of information and training programs for solid waste professionals.  We have trained thousands in today's trends and tomorrow's emerging technologies. 

The foundation for our effort is rooted in 7 technical divisions.  These divisions are made up of professionals who want to network and learn from their colleagues.  Technical Division Members are keenly interested in shaping the future of their fields.  Each division is led by volunteers who work on everything from setting the technical sessions at their division's annual symposium, to making sure that their voices are heard by elected officials.
