In 2015, SWANA’s Communication, Education and Marketing Technical Division created a new award category for innovation. The recipient of the innovation award is selected from the entries in these categories:
- Awareness Campaign
- Educational Program
- Communication, Education and Marketing (CEM) Tools
The Awards Committee judges look for elements of the entry that demonstrate creativity. The entrant must describe how their campaign, program or CEM tool is innovative and creative as part of the entry narrative.
