CEU FasTrack is an exciting opportunity to attend the ISWA World Congress & WASTECON® 2017 and earn up to 30 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)* to renew your SWANA certification(s). You will participate in a variety of conference sessions as well as special CEU FasTrack Discussion Groups. The CEUs you earn will apply to all your current certifications.

Choose from three different curated conference tracks facilitated by experienced solid waste professionals.

* Certification Renewal Fee for one certification and an All-Access Conference Registration is included in your registration fees. To earn all CEUs required for renewal, participants must attend all curated sessions and group meetings.

Dave Lore

Dave Lore is a solid waste director and manager with over 20 years’ experience, operating and managing MSW and C&D landfills. He is the 2016 recipient of Outstanding SWANA Faculty of the Year and is certified in five SWANA certification disciplines. Dave has been a SWANA Certified Faculty for the past 11+ years.

Meet Your Facilitator: Risa Weinberger

Risa Weinberger

Risa Weinberger is a licensed professional engineer based in Texas with over 30 years of experience in national consulting to both public and private clients. She formed Risa Weinberger & Associates, Inc. in 2003, after leaving HDR Engineering, Inc. as a vice president and senior professional associate of that firm. Her experience includes engineering, feasibility, permitting, construction, operations, and program management–primarily focusing on solid waste management and composting. She holds a Class A Solid Waste Technician Letter of Competency in Texas and is a Certified Manager of Composting Programs by SWANA and the USCC. Ms. Weinberger is the 2015 recipient of the 2015 SWANA Outstanding Faculty of the Year Award.

Becky Caldwell

Becky Caldwell of Franklin, Tennessee is the 2016 recipient of the SWANA Outstanding Online Faculty Award. She is certified in three SWANA certification disciplines and earned a Bachelors’ of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Caldwell is a member of many organizations including Leadership Franklin, American Public Works Association, the Solid Waste Association of North America and a graduate of the University of Tennessee/MTAS Municipal Management Academy (MMA).
