Today’s on-demand culture places pressure on businesses to deliver better services in less time and for fewer dollars. While this is nothing new to the private sector, increasingly public services are being asked to do the same. Industries and governments are responding by developing smart solutions that integrate big data and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to improve efficiencies and meet stakeholders’ demands. This is only the beginning of the smart cities movement, and the public and private sector simply can’t afford to be left out. Rubicon Founder, Chairman and CEO Nate Morris, and co-presenter, Marianne Blanc, Key Accounts Director for Suez North America, detail how cloud-based waste and recycling solutions are bringing greater operational efficiency, gathering intelligence that can be leveraged for cost optimization, decision/policy-making, and smoother stewardship.
