The presentation will explain why robotics are the future of the solid waste industry and how robotics can make organizations more efficient and make their bottom line more attractive in this constantly changing industry.

Following this presentation, participants will be able to examine cost savings of robots over manual labor, compare the use of robots to their current business model, evaluate whether automated picking stations will work for them, and choose whether to invest in robots for their businesses in the future.

William Hancock started in the heavy equipment industry in 2008 with crushing and screening equipment and moved quickly into the organics recycling business with PowerScreening, LLC, in Colorado, distributing Komptech equipment in the Rocky Mountain region. With the changing industry, he was tapped to lead a new division within the ML Environmental, LLC, company called Plexus Recycling Technologies, the North American distributor for ZenRobotics picking stations and other equipment.
