Big data can provide so many opportunities from route optimization to improved service to greater efficiency. Our interactive session will look at data from the researcher, hauler and technology provider perspectives. In addition, we’ll look ahead to future opportunities and challenges for using big data.

Tony Esposito, President and CEO, C2Logix, Inc.

Tony Esposito joined C2Logix, Inc. in April of 2010 as its President and CEO and was elected to the company’s board of directors. During this time he developed the company as a leader in the route optimization solution field. Over the years he has stayed personally involved with client projects and offered expertise to its wide range of waste industry customers. C2Logix continues to be a forerunner in the route optimization industry with a continual release of new and innovative solutions for its customers. Prior to C2Logix, Mr. Esposito held numerous executive and management positions over 30 years in the software, hardware, communications, and GPS tracking industries. He was a pioneer in the wireless data communications industry and was directly involved with some of the largest wireless data deployments in the industry. In the 1990’s Mr. Esposito participated as part of an ownership group in two different professional minor league hockey teams.

Samantha Podgorny, Product Manager, Hauler App, Rubicon Global, LLC

Samantha Podgorny

Samantha Podgorny is the Director of Technical Business Development as well as the Product Manager for Rubicon SmartCity. She is responsible for the design and functionality of the application as well as leading the launch specialist team through every seamless technology launch with our city partners. Ms. Podgorny has held positions in the finance department, customer advocacy, data integrity and now IT. She came to Rubicon with over five years of waste experience working for different hauling companies. It was there that she gained her knowledge of the industry that she applies to the technology. Ms. Podgorny is passionate about developing technology that helps eliminate pain points within waste organizations and improving efficiencies.
