As a follow-up to its Global Waste Management Outlook (GWMO) and Wasted health, the tragic case of open dumps reports, ISWA released A Roadmap for Closing Waste Dumpsites: The World’s Most Polluted Places report at the 2016 World Congress in Novi Sad with this emotive video. This report highlights the world’s 50 biggest dumpsites and provides direction and counsel for government officials and private sectors partners to close these dumpsites and replace them with environmentally sound and safe waste management facilities that will provide green jobs and better living conditions to millions of people throughout the world.
