Call for Nominations: Planning and Management Technical Division Recognition at SWANApalooza

The Planning and Management Technical Division now presents a Distinguished Individual Achievement Award. The first award was presented in 2016 to Vance Kemler, City of Denton, Texas. The 2017 award was given to James Warner, Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority. Who is deserving of the recognition in 2018? The award will be presented at SWANApalooza in March at Denver, Colorado.

Deadline to apply is December 15, 2017, at midnight Eastern time.

The Distinguished Individual Achievement Award recognizes a person who has made significant contributions to the solid waste industry and has not yet received the award. The Division’s Awards Committee will judge the nominations. The recipient (if any) will receive a trophy and free registration to SWANApalooza 2018.

Candidates for the Distinguished Individual Achievement Award must be nominated by a SWANA Member. The nominee also must be a SWANA Member.
