SWANA Staff Grows Again!

John H. Skinner, Ph.D., SWANA's Executive Director and CEO, was pleased to announce last week several recent staff changes designed to reflect the evolving responsibilities of the Association.
SWANA's Meetings Manager, Liesl Robinson, was recently promoted to Director of Meetings and Expositions. In her new role, Robinson will take on responsibility for the management of all exhibit and conference sponsorship activities as well as management of all meetings activities.
Jamie Britto has joined the Technical Divisions Department as a Technical Programs Coordinator. Britto comes to SWANA with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, having recently worked with the Solar Electric Light Fund in Washington, DC. In her new role, Britto will be managing the programs and activities of SWANA's Collection & Transfer; Special Waste; and Waste Reduction, Recycling & Composting Technical Divisions, as well as supporting a range of other projects.
Office Manager Cathy Wilde's title has been changed to Director of Administration to reflect her broadened responsibilities for the management of administrative efforts and accounting services as well as office manager functions.
Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator Liz Garavaglia's title was changed to Program Manager of Marketing Communications, reflecting her broadened role in the management of SWANA's newsletters and communications efforts.
