NAWTEC’s 25th Anniversary Celebration: Growing Up and Growing Strong

The 25th Annual North American Waste-to-Energy Conference (NAWTEC) is in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 24–26, 2017. It’s a particularly special time for the NAWTEC partners—the 25th anniversary of our premiere event focusing on recovering energy from municipal solid waste.

While NAWTEC is a wonderful opportunity to network with the most respected community of waste-to-energy professionals, there are many fantastic sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest in the sector.

Track 1: Growing Strong: Energy Recovery and Business Development in the Next 25 Years

This track will highlight the outstanding work being done in the energy recovery sector to ensure meaningful business management opportunities for existing facilities, as well as business development projects underway. In addition, this track will highlight what it takes to overcome the policy and public perception issues that are necessary to ensure the success of new and existing facilities.

Track 2: Growing Up: Celebrating Accomplishments from the Past 25 Years of Plant Operations and Research

This track highlights the technical side of the energy recovery sector. With a focus on operational innovation, as well as ongoing research and development, this track is geared toward those focused on operation success, the technology being used to secure that success, and the best-in-class thinking that is behind it.
