  • Do I need my SWANA username and password to access a webinar?

    No. You need your SWANA username and password for registration and payment only. To access the live Webinar, enter the meeting as a guest with the password that was included in an email to you upon registration and the day of the webinar.

  • What are onDemand/online courses?

    Online Courses are self-paced courses designed as a 100% virtual learning experience. They can help you prepare for the SWANA Certification exam. They also help you earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for certification renewal.

  • What are the minimum technical requirements for viewing a webinar?

    PC, Macintosh, desk or laptop computer, standard broadband connection, FLASH (essential) and Java enabled (if available). For Webinars and Certification Prep courses the web conferencing software allows you to do a compatibility check facility will be provided so potential enrollees can test their equipment suitability prior to enrollment. If you've never attended an Adobe Connect meeting before, test your connection.

  • What is a Webinar?

    Webinars are generally short in length. They are online sessions that discuss a specific topic.

  • What is an eCourse?

    SWANA eCourses are self-paced courses designed as a 100% virtual learning experience.

  • Why choose eCourses instead of classroom learning?

    You can learn from the comfort of your own home or office! You receive the same training and quality instructs as you would onsite at a SWANA Training Center. However, this training is done at a location convenient to you and on your own time.
