Ghassan M. Andraos

Ghassan “Gus” Andraos was inducted into the Landfill Gas Technical Division in 2007.

Gus has been an integral part of the business since 1984. With more than 23 years of experience in the design of landfill gas extraction systems, Gus’s understanding of methane gas processing and the business it supports is considerable. He is president of the Methane Gas Group for the BAS Group of Companies, based in Diamond Bar, CA. He has been involved in directing permitting, design, operation, and maintenance of more than 75 landfill gas systems throughout California and the Western US. Major contributions include improvements to flare design, and the first landfill gas membrane plant.
