Collaborative Just Culture® Program

The waste and resource management profession improves the quality of our lives. But did you know that year-over-year, it becomes more difficult to keep up with unique safety challenges despite technological advancements?

SWANA is meeting this safety challenge head-on by partnering with SG Collaborative Solutions to adopt the Collaborative Just Culture® Program standard as a first step toward Collaborative High Reliability®.

About the Program

Originally developed in the airline industry in 1994, the training program contributed to a  95% reduction in the US fatal accident rate in commercial aviation and has evolved into a universal standard adopted by hospitals, EMS operators, and other high-consequence industries. Our goal at SWANA is to demonstrate the evidence-based success of this program throughout the waste and resource management industry.

SWANA members receive a 20% discount on all registrations. You can register yourself as an individual or a group from your organization to create a cohort.

Cohort Schedule
