The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) has selected six students to receive $30,000 in scholarships through its Grant H. Flint Scholarship Program, Gershman Scholarship and the Robert P. Stearns/SCS Engineers Scholarship.
The number of awards increased in 2021 with the addition of the Harvey W. Gershman Scholarship.
The scholarship winners were drawn from a pool of 36 scholarship applications nominated to SWANA by chapters across the United States and Canada. Each student will receive a $5,000 scholarship for use in the coming academic year.
