The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is now accepting nominations for its 2025 awards program, honoring outstanding achievements in waste and resource management across North America.
For the first time, all SWANA award categories are open for nominations simultaneously, with winners to be announced at RCon™, SWANA’s flagship conference, taking place November 12–15, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.
The awards recognize excellence in the following award categories:
"SWANA members create impact and lead the way with many amazing accomplishments. The awards provide an important opportunity to recognize this work and spotlight programs that set the standard for our industry,” said SWANA CEO Amy Lestition Burke, MA, FASAE, CAE. “We look forward to celebrating all the award winners at RCon in November."
Nominations are due by August 13, 2025. Award descriptions and submission guidelines are available on the SWANA website.
