From landfill diversion to healthy soils, cleaner water and a calmer climate, organics recycling and its many ways & technologies provides sustainable “at home, work and play” solutions for all. The advocacy duo of the US Composting Council and The Compost Council of Canada will present at this session to showcase the many facets and opportunities available to communities and businesses of all shapes and sizes to compost and “feed the soil that feeds us.”


Chris Snow is the Director of Public Policy for the US Composting Council. Chris has over 35 years of public and private sector solid waste management and organics recycling experience in Florida; and has recently stepped down from the Chapter Director and Board Chair positions for the Florida Composting Council but remains as their Board Vice-Chair. Chris has a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Bachelor’s Degree in Resource Management.
