What You Missed at WASTECON® 2023

Industry professionals from across North America gathered for WASTECON^® 2023, SWANA’s executive leadership summit, from September 27–29, 2023 in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Boston Experience

With world-class sporting venues, prestigious college campuses, revered art institutes, and arguably more historical significance than any other major American city, it is no wonder that Boston welcomes millions of tourists year after year.

Attendees conveniently accessed the Hynes Convention Center by walking from the connected hotel options. There were plenty of stores and restaurants to enjoy along the way!

Keynote Presentations

Speakers and exhibitors from a diverse range of backgrounds shared insights on a variety of topics through thought-provoking presentations.

Participants learned about innovative solutions regarding the collection, processing, marketing, and management of compost, recyclables, and solid waste, and new ways to think about the use of artificial intelligence, product stewardship, and new ways of governing.

The event included a show floor featuring the latest innovative products, technologies, and services.

Meeting Colleagues

WASTECON^® provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to network and share insights and ideas. With ample time for connecting with peers, attendees established new relationships and fostered meaningful connections with like-minded professionals across the industry.
