The recent COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized how important proper solid waste management is to the public health, sanitation and environment of every community. While your major focus is on continuing to provide services during this time, other important issues loom in the background once we return to the new normal. These include the impacts of PFAS regulation on solid waste management facilities, the resetting of our recycling infrastructure and services in the wake of the China National Sword and the ongoing need to improve our safety record.
SWANA hopes to emerge from this pandemic stronger than ever so that we can support you as you take on these new challenges. We are counting on you to renew your membership to your association as we pursue our goal of moving from waste management to resource management.
