Learning & Development Team Launches Monthly Newsletter

On November 2, SWANA's Learning & Development (L&D) team launched a new monthly newsletter!

Very simply, L&D stands for “Learning and Development,” a term commonly used to describe the many ways nonprofit organizations, like SWANA, help their members and other industry professionals grow in their roles and careers.

“We built this newsletter to promote a culture of continuous learning. Through it, we’ll help you be intentional about your career and professional development by sharing knowledge, tools, and resources that will help you build new competencies, expand your professional opportunities, and inspire your career growth,” said Arminda Valles-Hall, Senior Director of Learning and Development at SWANA.

In this inaugural issue, we celebrate the success of new certification holders, share news about exciting collaborations with federal agencies and state institutions, and connect you with members of the L&D team.
