SWANA awarded Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) the 2019 Biggest Safety Improvement award. In 2018, LRS improved and increased its Live Safety principle messaging to employees, their friends and family and the communities it services, reducing incidents by over 50% from the previous year. Through constant communication every month regarding different safety topics that every person can relate to, LRS was able to educate and communicate the importance of safety to not only employees but the general public as well.
