Ray Huitric was inducted into the Landfill Gas Management Division Hall of Flame in 1997.

Ray worked for the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts, circa 1976–1997. He led the GRCDA/SWANA effort in working with the USEPA on development of the NSPS rule.
