State of Plastic Waste Management in the United States and Canada

As we celebrate the 51^st Earth Day, now is an opportune time to review the SWANA White Paper – State of Plastic Waste Management in the United States and Canada. This publication, a SWANA member benefit, focuses on containers and packaging in North America, and examines the effect of national and international markets on the movement of plastic waste material.

The White Paper examines the consequences that China’s National Sword Policy has on international plastic recover market. The paper also provides an overview of the use of technology in recovered plastics.
