SWANA Young Professional Leadership Academy

The inaugural Young Professionals Leadership Academy had a successful in-person retreat in Silver Spring, MD near the SWANA headquarters on March 10 and 11. For two days, the class met with speakers to talk about a variety of topics including conflict management, exploring Ethics, and building a personal brand. The students will meet throughout the rest of the year to work on their project and then reunite at WASTECON ^® 2022 where they will meet with SWANA’s board of directors to discuss their project.
