Introducing YPLA’s Class of 2023

SWANA's Young Professionals (YP) Leadership Academy (YPLA) is a year-long program designed to help young professionals increase their awareness of solid waste issues, learn specific skills necessary to handle industry issues, and discover personal leadership qualities and potential. 2023 young professionals are incredibly passionate and eager to learn more about the solid waste and recycling industry. They will learn from SWANA's program instruction and special speakers’ topics such as leadership, ethics, proactive thinking, time management, media relations, industry challenges, and more.
