Congratulations Michael Greenberg!

Michael L. Greenberg, SWANA Past President of the Board of Directors received the James R. Bridges Ohio Solid Waste Professional of the Year Award this week at the Ohio Partners Conference. The Ohio SWANA Buckeye Chapter is one of the three sponsors of the conference held every two years. "This award is a great honor, Greenberg said. "One special feature of this award is it is named after James Bridges. Jim was a founder of the Buckeye Chapter and my mentor when I first joined SWANA back in the late 1990's. He pushed me to get involved in leadership at the Chapter level and would have been very proud to see that I made it to President of the entire International Organization. I thank my peers that selected me for this award, it is very humbling. Always keep in mind how important a great mentor can be."
