SWANA just wouldn’t be SWANA without its members. That’s why we are asking members to report their and their colleague’s career changes, such as new jobs, promotions, and retirements. These “Transitions” will be memorialized in I Am SWANA News articles and shared with the member community. Let’s check out some members who are on the move!

Stephen Lippy, P.E., BCEE, S.C, of Lutherville, MD, recently retired from the SWANA Mid-Atlantic Chapter Board of Directors. Steve co-founded SWANA’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and has been involved with SWANA for more than four decades. He has also been a key contributor to WASTECONs held in the Mid-Atlantic region. At a recent Mid-Atlantic Chapter meeting, Steve's retirement was celebrated and the Chapter Board voted to make him an emeritus board member. Steve is also a SWANA Life Member.
