Ms. Tiffany Dunn

Before working in the Solid Waste sector, I began my career working for Citadel Broadcasting Company now Cumulus Media.  I started as a young professional, still in college, as a receptionist, worked my way around to the accounting department, and finally to the sales department.  This nearly ten year venture molded me and gave me the experience and learning opportunities to advance my career. I left Citadel to work for a company called Premium Refreshment Service in their Sales Department.  This was a great company and great people to work for, but I kept coming back to this notion that this isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life.  I kept thinking that there had to be something more for me, something that matters and can make a difference.  In 2012, I found myself here at Recycle Saline: A Solid Waste District not really sure what I was doing here, after all I didn't know anything about Solid Waste.  This opportunity allowed me to finish my college degree in 2013, after nearly twelve years of college I received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.  Soon after graduating, I became the Marketing and Education Coordinator creating a county wide Youth Environmental Ambassador Program where every school had a team where their primary responsibility is to oversee their recycling program and promote recycling, good stewardship, and sustainability efforts.  After serving in that position for four years, this past February 2017, I had the honor of being promoted to Executive Director.  I'm super excited for the opportunity to further promote recycling and implement better waste management practices in Saline County!  

Outside of work you can find me on the sidelines and bleachers watching my daughter play volleyball, softball, and cheer.  When we have free time outside of all that we love to travel to different places, but Colorado and the beach have our hearts.
