NC SWANA Announces Executive Committee (Officers) 2021-2023 and New Director

The North Carolina Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is pleased to announce the officers elected to lead the organization for the next two years. The executive committee and new director were sworn in on Monday, September 27^th, 2021 at the annual board retreat. The NC SWANA Board of Directors currently consists of 13 dedicated professionals that represent a cross section of the solid waste industry. Our newest Director Jordan Weiner, from GFL, serves as our Safety Ambassador and  as our Young Professional Representative. Organizationally, the Executive Committee (Officers) of the Board consist of the President Tracy Nestor with Republic Services, Vice President Joe Hack with Mecklenburg County, Treasurer Ellen Price with The City of Charlotte, Secretary Michael Plummer with HDR, Immediate Past President Scott Bost, and the Advisory Board Delegate Mike Brinchek  with Smith Gardner.
