The Apple Doesn't Fall Far from the Tree

Arielle Viny is the owner of AIR Productions, an eco-chic creative production company based in Los Angeles and New York.

We combine our knowledge of high-end photography and creative production with our passion for the environment and the west coast aesthetic—bringing a breath of fresh air to the professional production atmosphere,” according to the company’s website.

“My daughter, after living in our home as a child, grasped the value of practicing sustainability. And now that she is a business owner herself in the fashion industry, she found a way to incorporate what she learned into her work,” Steve said.

According to the company’s website, environmental impact plays a huge part in AIR Productions’ philosophy:

We have partnered with numerous vendors to curate an eco-chic production experience, including local and sustainable on-set products, reusable water bottles, and food rescue programs. “As SWANA members and practitioners, we ARE moving the needle on sustainability and climate change, not only in the waste industry, but also in other industries,” Steve said.

This is one way SWANA values can extend well beyond our own areas of practice. As some say, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
