SWANA is searching for an individual or firm to help in the development of its next strategic plan.
At its annual meeting in September, SWANA’s International Board started preparations for its next five-year strategic management planning process. To aid in that process and the development of the strategic management plan, SWANA is issuing a Request for Proposals for planning services that calls for an individual or firm to provide assistance gathering stakeholder input, incorporating previous and current plans, and creating an update plan that addresses changes and trends in both the solid waste management and association management industries. Previous planning efforts led to the development of SWANA’s e-business strategy and the Young Professionals initiative.
Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST February 5, 2014. Complete proposals received by the deadline will be reviewed by a committee of SWANA IB members and staff with work expected to kick-off in late February or early March.
The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is an organization of more than 10,000 public and private sector professionals committed to advancing from solid waste management to resource management through their shared emphasis on education, advocacy, and research.
