New SWANA Affinity Program Launching at WASTECON®
Significant Savings from SWANA’s First Provider – Card Payment Service

Silver Spring, MD – The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) announces the debut of a new affinity program and the selection of its first supplier, Card Payment Services, Inc. (CPS).

This is the beginning of a preferred provider lineup where members can take advantage of vendors who have been vetted by SWANA’s Affinity Program Committee and earn the distinction of officially being among SWANA's preferred vendors.

David Biderman, SWANA Executive Director and CEO, stated, “I am very pleased that we are starting this new program, which will provide members with access to trusted, high quality companies such as Card Payment Services (CPS). CPS has a very strong reputation in the waste industry, and their vice president, Andrew M. Caine, is a card carrying SWANA member.” Added Biderman, “We expect to announce other vendors in SWANA’s new Affinity program shortly.

At WASTECON® 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mr. Caine will be on hand at the Pit Stop in the exhibit hall on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. for a Q&A Session to describe CPS’ new Affinity relationship with SWANA and share how CPS can reduce credit card processing fees paid by local governments and companies.

“CPS is happy to be working with SWANA’s members and being able to offer them significant savings on credit card processing rates, far lower than what typical banks can offer,” offered Andrew Caine, Certified Payment Professional. Caine added, “CPS has been specializing in working with Municipalities and Waste Removal Companies for over 10-years and is excited to bring that experience to SWANA members.”
