Waste Pro has announced Mike Fernandez is joining the team as Vice President of Post Collections

Fernandez is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of experience working in the solid waste and recycling industry.

"Mike joins the company after leading the solid waste division of the Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management for the last 15 years. Miami-Dade County is one of the country's largest municipal collection, recycling, transfer, and post-collection operations," according to a press release by Waste Pro.

"Mike led operations, budget, and oversight for this large government-owned, vertically integrated solid waste system. This included managing over 1100 employees, facility management, and equipment maintenance."
