New Technical Division Leadership and Other Leadership Positions Announced

SWANA’s elected leadership changed on July 1, bringing new officers and several new members into governance roles for SWANA.
In addition to the SWANA FY2025 Board of Directors, SWANA is proud to recognize members leading in other key roles:
- Collection & Transfer Advisory Board Delegate: Don Birnesser
- Collection & Transfer Vice Director: Jill Gaffigan
- Landfill Gas & Biogas Advisory Board Delegate: David Kaminski
- Planning & Management Advisory Board Delegate: Ramona Simpson
- Sustainable Materials Management Vice Director: Amanda Jordan
- Waste Conversion & Energy Recovery Vice Director: David Henry
As SWANA looks ahead to future initiatives and projects, these individuals will contribute their insights and leadership to advance the association’s strategic goals and strengthen its position as a leading voice in the solid waste management industry.
