OSHA Workplace Injury and Illness Reporting Rule

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) final rule on requirements for submitting workplace injury and illness information becomes effective January 1, 2024. The rule requires electronic submission of injury and illness information for establishments with 100 or more employees in designated industries including waste collection and waste treatment & disposal. Safety Is Our Right Challenge

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has launched a new challenge under its Safe + Sound campaign titled “Safety is Our Right Challenge,” which focuses on acknowledging workers’ rights and building worker trust. This new challenge joins several other OSHA challenges related to worker participation, management leadership, and finding and fixing hazards.
