SWANA is currently offering Self-Study + Live Debriefing courses to our members. Registration is now open for the upcoming Managing Composting Programs, Managing MSW Collection Systems, and Managing Integrated Solid Waste Management Systems virtual courses.

Registration includes:

These courses allow our members to get the much needed face-to-face time with our SWANA-certified faculty while allowing them the flexibility to study at their pace with our on-demand lesson recordings.

    Live, Online Debriefings on Tuesdays and Thursdays

    SWANA brings you a 100% virtual learning experience that supplements the flexibility of self-study learning with real-time, instructor-led debriefings that help you understand and apply the key concepts of each lesson to your work. The 75-minute debriefings will be held twice a week for four weeks in May.

    The Managing Municipal Solid Waste Collection Systems course addresses emerging technology and best practices for the collection of residential solid waste and recyclables from single- and multi-family residences. Learn how to effectively plan, operate, and manage your residential solid waste and recyclables collection systems.

    The course includes:
