SWANA has been closely monitoring and evaluating the spread of coronavirus and the concerns of members and partners. The health and safety of attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and staff must be our top priority. As a result, we will not be holding SWANApalooza on March 23-26, 2020 in Atlanta.
This decision was made after consulting with SWANA’s officers, the SWANA Georgia chapter leadership, Board members, exhibitors, attendees, and others. They and staff unanimously agree that postponing SWANApalooza is the responsible and prudent decision, and is consistent with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other public health agencies’ recommendations to limit large gatherings.
We are having conversations with the Westin Hotel in Atlanta about available dates on which to reschedule and hope to have further information by next week.
We recognize that there will be many questions in response to this announcement. We ask for your patience as we respond to your inquiries. Please email us at swanapalooza@swana.org and we will direct your question to the appropriate staff.
We value your commitment and participation in SWANA, but more importantly, we value your good health.
