Core Advocacy Group Updates

The SWANA Core Advocacy Group, which is comprised of legislative liaisons from each chapter and technical division, met on March 11 to discuss the role of the group, recent SWANA advocacy efforts, and ideas for advancing the work of the group. Attendees engaged in a discussion on EPR, lithium-ion batteries, PFAS and other hot topics. The Core Advocacy Group will have an in-person gathering at SOAR on April 16.

There is a new community in MySWANA titled “Advocacy & Public Policy,” which is used to post updates, communicate with other group members, and access a library of documents.
