US Department of Agriculture Announces Recipients of Composting and Food Waste Reduction (CFWR) Cooperative Agreements

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced 38 Composting and Food Waste Reduction (CFWR) cooperative agreements to support local projects that seek to reduce food waste and recycle organics.

The US $11.5 million investment, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, assist local governments with projects that advance food waste reduction, increase access to compost, implement scalable food waste management plans, and more.
