In Memoriam: Phil Bresee, MSW Consultants

Phillip Bresee, Senior Consultant, MSW Consultants recently deceased.

Phillip Doran Bresee passed away February 18, 2023 after a brief and unfair battle with cancer at age 55. He had a 30-year plus career developing and leading recycling and solid waste management programs for Frederick, Howard and Broward Counties and the City of Philadelphia.

Phil was most recently a Senior Consultant with MSW Consultants in Orlando. There, he specialized in recycling and solid waste planning, program benchmarking and research, recyclables processing contracts, technical writing, and state and local government policies.

A consummate volunteer, Phil served as a board member for the Maryland Recycling Network (MRN). He also served on the MRN/SWANA Mid-Atlantic Annual Conference Planning Committee, as well as presented at several past conferences.
