Waste Conversion & Energy Recovery Technical Division Awards
The SWANA Waste Conversion & Energy Recovery TD Awards Committee evaluates nominations and presents individual achievement and organization awards. Award winners receive a trophy and a full conference registration to the annual SOAR Conference, and will be recognized at a ceremony there.
Trailblazer Distinguished Individual Achievement Award
The annual Trailblazer Award recognizes a distinguished individual for service to employers, support of the mission of SWANA to advance MSW management, and overall long-term service to the Waste Conversion & Energy Recovery industry.
Facility Excellence Award
The Waste Conversion & Energy Recovery Facility Excellence Award recognizes excellence in projects that produce renewable energy from solid waste, whether through direct combustion or through other methods.
