The California Commission on Recycling Markets and Curbside Recycling was established in law in 2019 and 17 commissioners were appointed by CalEPA in May 2020. They are tasked with providing consensus policy recommendations to CalRecycle and the Legislature to ensure the state meets its goals for GHG reductions, addressing contamination and curbside collection, and waste reduction/diversion mandates.
On this webinar the Commission Chair, Vice Chair, and a Commissioner will share the policy recommendations under development. They will also invite anyone to submit policy suggestions to the Commission for consideration.
