Jenna R. Jambeck PHD

Dr. Jenna Jambeck has been conducting solid waste research for 20 years, including marine debris since 2001. She specializes in global waste issues and plastic contamination. Her work on plastic waste in the ocean has been the basis of policy discussions by the Global Ocean Commission, in testimony to U.S. Congress, G7, G20 and the U.N. Environment program. Among many accomplishments, she is co-developer of the mobile app Marine Debris Tracker.
