SWANA Standing Committees

The SWANA Board of Directors (BOD) has three standing committees empowered in their areas to review and recommend actions to the BOD.

Planning & Membership Committee

To promote programs and activities of SWANA; to oversee the development of new programs and activities of SWANA; and to oversee the development of the Association's annual plan. To promote Membership; to promote Chapter formation, operation and participation in SWANA affairs; to oversee and assure Membership and Chapter interests in SWANA.

Policy Committee

To promote the development and implementation of policies related to the Mission of SWANA, SWANA management, administrative and technical matters; to oversee and assure an open process for the development and implementation of policy.

Finance Committee

To promote sound financial management records and accounting of SWANA financial resources; to oversee the investment policies and program of SWANA; to oversee and assure the development of SWANA annual budgets.
