Technical Division Voting has Opened, YP Ballots Begin Next Week

Technical Division Ballots
Technical Division electronic ballots were issued Monday, May 10. Ballots were distributed to the following technical divisions to vote for the Advisory Board Delegate position: Communication, Education, & Marketing; Landfill Gas & Biogas; Sustainable Materials Management; and Waste Conversion & Energy Recovery.
In keeping with the Board of Directors’ decision to extend officer terms as a result of COVID disruptions, this election proposes an additional term running July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023, for the individual currently holding the seat.
Electronic ballots were distributed May 10 and must be returned by noon EDT May 26. Eligible technical division members that have not received a ballot should email sbixby@swana.org to request an alternative ballot.
Young Professional Ballot
Ballots are being distributed to all Young Professional members of SWANA in good standing to vote for the Young Professionals Board of Directors Representative position on SWANA’s Advisory Board. In keeping with the Board of Directors’ decision to extend officer terms as a result of COVID disruptions, this election proposes an additional term running July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023, for the individual currently holding the seat.
Electronic ballots will be distributed May 18 and must be returned by noon EDT June 1. Eligible Young Professional members that don’t receive a ballot by 8 a.m. EDT May 19 should email sbixby@swana.org to request an alternative ballot.
Private Sector and Small Business Ballot
Ballots were distributed to all private sector and small business members of SWANA to vote for candidates for three Private Sector Director (PSD) positions on SWANA’s Advisory Board. In keeping with the Board of Directors’ decision to extend officer terms as a result of COVID disruptions, this election also proposes an additional term through June 2023 for the individuals currently holding the three seats.
