WASTECON and COVID Update

September 23, 2021

SWANA is working tirelessly to ensure WASTECON is as safe as possible for our participants. We are cautiously optimistic to see the COVID-19 cases in Florida are decreasing and are hoping to see this trend continue as we prepare for WASTECON in Orlando, November 1-4.

SWANA expects to have enough room for appropriate spacing while indoors and will be holding the networking event outside on Tuesday, November 2. With a flexible cancellation policy when it comes to WASTECON registration and the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, SWANA makes it easy for you to transfer or cancel reservations if necessary. We also encourage those planning to attend WASTECON to take all the necessary precautions, including: getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, and getting a COVID test before attending.

Hotel Information

Book your reservation for the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center now! Hosting WASTECON at the Gaylord Palms allows participants to sleep and network in one, secluded area, away from the high traffic, tourist areas in Orlando. Get the latest COVID-19 efforts from the Gaylord here.

Attendee Cancellation Policy

With the flexible cancellation policy, you have the opportunity to cancel your registration by October 29, 2021 to receive a 100% refund of the registration fee less a $150 administration fee. You also have the option to transfer your registration to a friend. Learn more at WASTECON.org.
