Jeffrey Murray is with HDR’s Raleigh, North Carolina office, where he leads project teams for the planning, permitting, design and construction administration of landfill, transfer station and recycling facilities and with assisting communities with solid waste master planning efforts. He has more than 22 years of experience as a solid waste consultant. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and Master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Jeff has been an active SWANA member since 1998, having served on a Chapter board of directors, as Landfill Management Technical Division training committee chair, on the International Board of Directors and as a SWANA officer. He just completed his one-year term as SWANA International Board president and is now advising the current officers as a past president.
